The Kirkgate Centre is a dynamic and lively community arts venue, run largely by volunteers. It hosts a busy programme of live music gigs, touring theatre, comedy shows, exhibitions and community events and films. The Kirkgate Centre is renowned for its programme of contemporary folk music - attracting some of the biggest names in the business. The Kirkgate Centre has a reputation for its relaxed, intimate and friendly atmosphere as well as a warm welcome. As well as a 125-seater theatre and bar, the centre has a large reception room that is available for hire by groups and parties.

Opening details

The Kirkgate Centre is open all year round, with events taking place every week. Films are shown on Monday evenings (except in August). The Box Office is open from 10.00 to 13.00 Monday to Friday (answer machine 24 hours). Tickets are also available online at www.quaytickets.com.
