Beginners Bike Maintenance Course

Beginners Bike Maintenance Course

This hands-on bike maintenance course is delivered from our Cockermouth Store workshop near Keswick in the Lake District and aims to save you money by showing you just how easy basic cycle maintenance really is.

Why pay a bike shop to do a simple job that you could be able to do yourself?
You do not need to have a great knowledge of bike maintenance to complete many cycle repairs and you could save yourself a lot of time and money in the long run. Our fully qualified Cyctech mechanics will take you through each process step by step with lots of opportunities to ask questions along the way - So why not come along and see how easy it really is to keep your bike in tip top condition.

This course will not only show you just how easy it is to keep your bike in good working order but will also give you lots of great trail / roadside repair tips to get you home safely should anything go wrong whilst you are out riding.

The course is suitable for both MTB and Road Bike riders and will cover the following areas:-

How to Fix Punctures

How to Adjust Gears

How to Set Up Brakes

How to Repair Chains

How to Replace Cables

How to Adjust Headsets

How to Remove Bottom Brackets.

All tools and work-stands are provided on the course. At the end of the course we will have tools available to purchase with a special Cyclewise discount.
