The Coach House is the ground-floor, 1 bedroom apartment created within the old stable block that abuts Derwent Cottage. A substantial Lakeland house, Derwent Cottage is set back from the road within secluded, landscaped gardens in the quiet village of Portinscale, 1 mile west of Keswick.

The apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and fully equipped for 2 people. It is suitable for those with restricted walking ability and those who might need to use a wheelchair some of the time. There are 2 marinas within a 10 minute walk, a cafe/restaurant in the village as well as a pub that serves food. There is also a wide variety of eating and drinking establishments in the nearby town of Keswick.

A Sun - Sun booking scheme works throughout most of the year and short breaks of any 3 or more consecutive days are available during the winter.

Arrival is after 16.00 or by arrangement and departure by 10.00.
